ملخص
هدفت الدراسة الى ايجاد العلاقة بين مستوى الذكاء العاطفي المستخدم من قبل مدير المشروع وتأثيره على أدائه في ادارة المشاريع بالمملكة العربية السعودية والمنعكس بأداء فريقه. وكذلك هدفت الدراسة الى الخروج بتوصيات من شأنها رفع الوعي والاهتمام بجانب الذكاء العاطفي لدى مدراء المشاريع على انه أحد عوامل النجاح والتفوق والتميز. تمت الدراسة على شريحة من مدراء المشاريع بالمملكة العربية السعودية وذلك لقياس مستوى الذكاء العاطفي لديهم وربطها مع نجاحهم من اجل ايجاد العلاقة بين مستوى ذكائهم العاطفي وتأثيره على أداء ادارته وفريقه والذي يترجم بنجاح المشروع في كل المستويات. أعتمد الباحثان على أسلوب التحليل الوصفي، وتم توزيع استبانة الكترونية على مجموعة كبيرة من مدراء مشاريع في شتى المجالات داخل المملكة العرية السعودية حيث حظي الباحث ب 107 استجابة ردا على الاستبانة. أظهرت الدراسة أن هناك أثر ضعيف جداً بين التأهيل المعرفي والشهادات والخبرات مع أداء الفريق نحو نجاح المشروع في ظل المنافسة بين مدراء المشاريع. لكن البحث أظهر علاقة ملحوظة وأثر قوي بين الذكاء العاطفي محاوره الخمسة (الوعي الذاتي، الادارة الذاتية، الوعي الاجتماعي، إدارة العلاقات، القيادة) مع نجاح المشروع. وأوصت الدراسة الباحثين المكملين لهذا الموضوع بإكمال الدراسة وإيجاد اوزان معاملات المتغيرات والتي تؤثر إيجابا على أداء مدراء المشاريع.
أوصت الدراسة بنشر وعي ثقافة الذكاء العاطفي وتطويره على مدراء المشاريع بشكل خاص ولجميع المدراء بشكل عام.

Abstract:
The study aimed to find the relationship between the level of emotional intelligence used by project manager and its impact on his project management performance inside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This project management performance is reflected by the performance of the project management team in succeeding to reach the project outcomes. This study also, aims to come up with recommendations that would raise emotional intelligence awareness and interest as a factor off success, excellence, and distinction among project managers. The study was conducted on a segment of project managers inside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia by measuring their level of emotional intelligence and linking it to their success. This relationship, between the level of their emotional intelligence and its impact on the performance on project management and on the team, is translated as the success of the project at all levels. The two researchers adopted the descriptive analysis method, and an electronic questionnaire was distributed to a large group of project managers in various fields within the Kingdom Saudi Arabia. The research received 107 responses.
Considering the competition between project managers, the study showed that, there is a very weak effect toward success between the Project Manager's Competence, certificates, and experiences with the performance of his team towards the success. But the research showed a remarkable relationship and a strong effect between emotional intelligence in its five axes (self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, relationship management, and leadership) with the success of the project. The study recommended researchers completing this topic to complete the study and find weights of variable parameters that positively affect the performance of project managers.
The study recommended spreading and developing awareness of emotional intelligence as culture among project managers, and for all managers in general.
