ملخص الدراسة
تهدف هذه الدراسة الى بيان مدى مساهمة القطاع الصناعي في النمو الاقتصادي الماليزي خلال الفترة 1980- 2019م، وإبراز أهم الصناعات الماليزية، والتحديات التي تواجه القطاع الصناعي في الاقتصاد الماليزي، استخدمت الباحثة الاسلوب الوصفي التحليلي, إضافة إلى الاسلوب الكمي من خلال بناء نموذج الانحدار الخطي المتعدد وقد تم الاستعانة بالبرنامج الاحصائي الافيوز، وتوصلت الدراسة الى وجود علاقة عكسية بين القيمة المضافة لقطاع الصناعة والنمو الاقتصادي، كذلك وجود علاقة عكسية بين إجمالي الادخار الوطني والنمو الاقتصادي، أما كل من قطاع الصادرات والاستثمار الاجنبي المباشر فتؤثر طرديا على النمو الاقتصادي، خلصت الدراسة الى أهمية القطاع الصناعي لدوره الفعال في رفع النمو الاقتصادي وفقا لرؤية ماليزيا 2020.

Abstract
This study aims to demonstrate the extent of the industrial sector’s contribution to the Malaysian economic growth during the period 1980-2019, highlighting the most important Malaysian industries, and the challenges facing the industrial sector in the Malaysian economy. The researcher used the descriptive and analytical method, in addition to the quantitative method by building a multiple linear regression model. The statistical program was used, and the study found an inverse relationship between the added value of the industrial sector and economic growth, as well as the existence of an inverse relationship between total national savings and economic growth, while both the export sector and foreign direct investment directly affect economic growth, the study concluded with the importance of The industrial sector for its effective role in raising economic growth in accordance with Malaysia's Vision 2020.
